Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a technique used to treat musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction. It involves inserting fine acupuncture needles into muscles, specifically trigger points or "knots". This has a relaxing effect on the muscle and reduces associated pain. Although this method can be seen as quite invasive, it is actually relatively painless and provides quick and effective results.

Myofascial Cupping

Myofascial cupping is a therapy used as a tool in a holistic treatment approach. It involves placing cups on certain areas of the body and the putting suction in them. There are different ways they can be employed such as statically, functionally or actively, depending on the clients specific needs. They work to provide increased blood flow, improve joint range of motion, reduce muscular pain and decrease overall stress of the mind and body.

Exercise Rehabilitation

Exercise rehabilitation is the use of specific movements or exercises to help facilitate long term positive change of a previously identified injury, pain or movement dysfunction. It is the final piece of the puzzle in regards to successful manual therapy and some would argue the most important part. It involves prescription and planning, as well as specific guidance in relation to the desired execution of the exercise.
